DAY 1 - TOKYO - ARRIVAL & TRANSFER
Welcome to Japan!
Upon your arrival at Tokyo International Airport, you will be met by the airport assistant for your transfer at the arrivals Hall to take you to your hotel. The remainder of the day will be at leisure. Tokyo, Japan’s capital and the most populous metropolis, this city offers tradition, innovation as well as vast opportunities to Explore, eat and shop. DAY 2 – TOKYO - MOUNT FUJI & HAKONE DAY EXCURSION
Breakfast at the hotel – make your own way to the SIC group tour meeting point. Discover Mt. Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan and registered as World Heritage. Our one-day tour includes visiting Mt. Fuji Fifth Station (elevation: approx. 2300m), then taking a sky gondola ride to Hakone’s most iconic Owakudani valley. Afterward, enjoy the magnificent view of Mt. Fuji and the photogenic torii gate of Hakone Shrine on Lake Ashi by Hakone pirate boat. Overnight in Tokyo
DAY 3 – TOKYO
Breakfast at the hotel - This day will be at leisure to explore this vibrate city. Overnight in Tokyo
DAY 4 - TOKYO - NAGANO
After breakfast at the hotel and room check-out, you will leave Tokyo for Nagano. Make your own way to Tokyo station for your journey on a high-speed train (Shinkansen) Alighting at Nagano in the Japanese Alps, you will need to make your own way to your hotel. The remainder of the day will be at leisure. Nagano is a mountainous, landlocked prefecture in the centre of Honshu, belonging to the Chubu region. The city was the site of the Olympic Winter games 1998 with the highest mountain ranges in the country. Don’t miss the Tsumago & Kiso’s beautifully preserved Samurai-era villages & the Hot Spring loving Monkeys in the winter. Overnight in Nagano
DAY 5 - NAGANO
Breakfast at the Hotel, then make your way to the meeting point for the SIC (Seat in Coach) group tour to visit: -
Winter (December to March): Snow Monkeys
Summer (April to November): Matsumoto Castle

DAY 6 – NAGANO - KANAZAWA
Breakfast at the hotel & room check-out. Self-transfer to Nagano station for the Shinkansen journey to Kanazawa station. On arrival, make your way to the Hotel. During WWII, Kanazawa was Japan’s second largest city (after Kyoto) Today, Kanazawa remains an important city in its region, boasting many historical attractions such as the Kanazawa Castle or Nishi Chaya District- A small geisha district near the Ninja Temple. Overnight in Kanazawa
DAY 7 - KANAZAWA
Breakfast at the Hotel – Today will be at Leisure for you to explore this pretty city. Overnight in Kanazawa
DAY 8 - KANAZAWA - TAKAYAMA
Early breakfast and room check-out. Approximately 9am, you will be met by our Guide to accompany you on the Niho bus for a visit the UNESCO world heritage site at Shirakawa-go, with their traditional gassho-zukuri farmhouses. This visit will end approx. 3pm where the guide will take you to the bus stop for the journey back to Takayama. Overnight in Takayama
DAY 9 - TAKAYAMA - KYOTO
After breakfast, make your own way to Takayama station for your express train via Nagoya to Kyoto Station. Overnight in Kyoto
DAY 10 - KYOTO
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure. Kyoto offers a rare link between the modern life in the city and its ancient past. Visit the Fushimi Inari Shrine, see the life sized Thousand-Armed Kannon statues of Sanjusangen-do or savor a tranquil meal at a restaurant overlooking the Kamo River. Overnight in Kyoto
DAY 11 - KYOTO
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight in Kyoto
DAY 12 - KYOTO - OSAKA
After breakfast and room checkout, make your own way to Kyoto Station for your Shinkansen to Osaka station. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Osaka
DAY 13 - OSAKA
Breakfast at Hotel. Day at leisure. Osaka is Japan’s second largest metropolitan area after Tokyo. This stylish city is a shopping hub, with fabulous restaurants and nightlife. It is an ideal base for exploring the Kansai region; Nara's temple, and Koya-san's eerie graves are within 90 minutes by train. Top city attractions include the aquarium, Osaka Castle, Universal Studios Japan, and the futuristic Floating Garden Observatory. Overnight in Osaka
DAY 14 - OSAKA DEPARTURE
After breakfast, room check out. Depending on the time of your departure flight, luggage storage facilities are normally available at the hotel, while you head out for some last-minute shopping or sightseeing. After you arrive at the airport board your flight back home!
