Day 1 - Arrival in Tbilisi – Transfer to the hotel (B)

Meeting with the staff. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 - Tbilisi city tour (B, D)
Tbilisi. Breakfast in the hotel.
In the morning Sightseeing tour of Tbilisi, capital city since 5th century; explore old town, cable-car journey up to 4th-century Narikala fortress, stroll in old town, art and carpet salons, enamel galleries lunch at local restaurant in town, *optional visit at sulfur baths for SPA treatment, visit of Georgian national Museum. Dinner with folk performance in a Georgian restaurant.

Day 3 - Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Ananuri - Gudauri (B, D)
Tbilisi. Breakfast in the hotel.
Depart to Mtskheta, the former capital, important political and cultural center from 3rd century BC recognized by UNESCO as the world heritage site. Visit 6th-century Jvari Monastery, Svetitskhoveli cathedral. Depart to Stepantsminda, by military road of Georgia, Visit the local winery nearby Mtskheta; Enjoy wine tour home-made Bio wine and have lunch, continue to the north to Ananuri castle, the epicenter of numerous battles from 13th century. Today attracts visitors with its unique architecture and perfect location. Drive along Aragvi river to Gudauri ski resort, dinner, and overnight at the hotel in Gudauri
Day 4 - Gudauri – Stepantsminda – Gudauri (B, L)
Gudauri. Breakfast in the hotel.
Drive from Gudauri to Stepantsminda over Jvari Pass 2380 m. (*former Kazbegi), Drive up to Gergeti Trinity church, dated from 14th century, located at 2180 m. Enjoy the stunning view of Mt. Kazbeg 5054 m. Have a homemade lunch in Stepantsminda and drive back to Gudauri for overnight.
Day 5 - Gudauri – Gori – Uplistsikhe - Borjomi (B, D)
Gudauri. Breakfast in the hotel.
After the breakfast drive to the Shida-kartli region of Georgia, to Uplistsikhe rock-hewn city dated from 1st millennium BC, identified as one of the oldest urban settlements in Georgia, Uplistsikhe contains structures from Early Iron Age to Late Middle Ages. Optional* visit J. Stalin museum in Gori, lunch and continue to Borjomi spa resort, taste some mineral waters in Borjomi park, dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 - Borjomi – Akhaltsikhe – Vardzia - Tbilisi (B, L)
Borjomi. Breakfast in the hotel.
After breakfast visit Rabat Castle. Rabati Castle is a fortress in Akhaltsikhe, established in the 9th century and later rebuilt by the Ottomans. After the excursion at Rabati Castle, we will drive to Vardzia. Vardzia – a rock-hewn cave monastery on the left bank of the river Mtkvari, founded in the 12th -13th c.c. during the reign of Giorgi III and Queen Tamar. Initially planned as a town-fortress, the complex became a wellfortified monastery, which had a significant role in political, cultural, educational and spiritual life of the country. visit Upper Vardzia nunnery and take part in workshop: making church candles from honey wax, nuns will provide embroidery art and icon painting, taste local cheese, “sweet bread” and jams produced by nuns. Homemade dinner in agrofarm in Vardzia. Drive to Tbilisi, through Paravani lake (the largest lake in Georiga) 2073 m from the sea level.

Day 7 - Tbilisi / Georgian-Armenian border / Dilijan / Haghartsin / Sevan / Yerevan (B, L, D)
Tbilisi. Breakfast in the hotel. Meeting with Armenian guide and driver. Continue the tour in Armenia. Dilijan - a town-resort with favorable oxygen regimen, unique landscape features and curative mineral water. Visit to Haghartsin Monastery.It was built between the 10th and 13th centuries (in the 12th under Khachatur of Taron); much of it under the patronage of the Bagratuni Dynasty. Head to Gegharkunik region. Here you will visit Sevan Lake, the "blue-eyed beauty" of Armenia. Being one of the biggest highland freshwater lakes in the world it is 1900 m above sea level. The tour will continue along the coast of Lake Sevan to the peninsula. After rising to the peninsula, you will see the monastery of Sevanavank (IX cent.). An amazing view to the lake and surrounding beauties opens from the hill. Drive to capital Yerevan. Welcome dinner in typical Armenian restaurant with Armenian folk music and dance. Overnight in the hotel in Yerevan.
Day 8 - Yerevan / City Tour / Echmiadzin / Zvartnots / Yerevan (B, L)

Start overall city tour in Yerevan.
Yerevan is the capital and largest city of Armenia, and one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities. Yerevan is older than Rome for 29 years. In 2018 Yerevan celebrated its 2800th anniversary.
Heading to Armavir region.
Visit to Echmiadzin - the spiritual centre of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the residence of the Catholicos of All Armenians. Visit the Mother Cathedral of Holy Echmiadzin (UNESCO world heritage site) - one of the most ancient and most beautiful examples of Christian architecture 2000.
On the way back to Yerevan you will visit Zvartnots temple (means “celestial angels”) 7th century wonderful architectural masterpiece. The remnants of Zvartnots, even in ruins, are a majestic sight.
After exploring the sights have lunch in Tasty Guest house. Here you will take part in Gata (national pie) and sujukh (national sweet) making culinary show by one of TV hosts of Armenia.
Drive back to Yerevan. Overnight in the hotel in Yerevan.
Day 9 - Yerevan / Khor Virap / Noravank / Karahunj / Goris (B, L)

Today’s excursion will take you to Ararat region. Here Khor Virap monastery (meaning “deep pit” or "deep well") is located. The monastery was host to a theological seminary and was the residence of Armenian Catholicos. Khor Virap Monastery continues to be a holy site of the Armenian Apostolic Church and an important pilgrimage location. The walled, religious complex also stands before the snowcapped flanks of Mount Ararat, offering a spectacular view of the mountain and cutting a striking silhouette in and of itself.
Noravank (meaning "New Monastery" in Armenian) is a 13th century Armenian monastery, spiritual centre of Orbelyan princes’ dynasty. The monastery is best known for its twostorey Surp Astvatsatsin (Holy Mother of God, Burtelashen) church, which grants access to the second floor by way of a narrow stone-made staircase jutting out from the face of building.
Drive to Yerevan. On the way visit Karahunj (also called Zorats Karer) - a prehistoric archaeological site near the city of Sisian in the Syunik province of Armenia. It is alike famous Stonehenge in Wiltshire, England and Carnac Stones in Carnac, France.
Drive to Goris. Overnight in the hotel in Goris.
Day 10 - Goris / Tatev / Khndzoresk / Areni / Yerevan (B, L)

Continue to Tatev monastery - 9th century monastery located on a large basalt plateau near the Tatev village in Syunik Province in southeastern Armenia. The monastic ensemble stands on the edge of a deep gorge of the Vorotan River. Monastery Tatev, Tatevi Anapat and their adjacent areas of the Vorotan Valley were added to the list of World Heritage Sites of United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
Visiting Tatev you can take the world’s longest ropeway called “Wings of Tatev”. A cableway connects Tatev village to Halidzor village. It was included in the Guinness World records as the world's "longest non-stop double track cable car”.
Continue your trip to Khndzoresk – a cave village with a large cave system. There are a very large number of caves, although most of them are manmade and rather small.
There is a 160-meter long swinging bridge that was built using nothing more than local funds and labor in 2012 and which shakes with every footstep.
Drive to Vayots Dzor province, village Areni. Here the most ancient winery in the world Areni-1 is located. This winery had been discovered as a result of excavations done in 2007-2008. Drive to Yerevan. Overnight in the hotel
Day 11 - Yerevan / Geghard / Garni / Yerevan - Ararat Cognac Factory (B, L)
Yerevan Breakfast in the hotel.
Drive to Kotayk region. Today you are going to visit Geghard Monastery, which is cut into the rock (13th c); and Garni - the only type of pagan temple across the Caucasus and the former Soviet Union (2nd half of 1st c AD).
After exploring the sights you will have lunch in restaurant in Garni village. Here you will also have an opportunity to watch the process of baking Armenian bread lavash (inscribed in UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity).
Driving back to Yerevan you will visit Ararat Cognac factory. You will participate in the tour to Yerevan Brandy Company, producer of the brand ARARAT, where you will
- Visit the museum of the factory, get acquainted with the legends of ARARAT brandies, learn the 120 years old history of Armenian brandy production, know who have drunk Armenian brandy, see the oldest Armenian barrels and the medals which decorate the ARARAT legend.
- Walk around the ageing cellar and see how the brandy spirits are preserved, know who have nominal barrels and enjoy the delicate aroma of the cellar.

Day 12 - Departure (B)
Yerevan. Breakfast in the hotel (depending on the time of departure). Transfer to the Yerevan Airport. Departure.
