Today, begin your journey by taking a schedule flight to Beijing

Day 2 | Beijing

On arrival at Beijing Airport, our local representative will be waiting outside the customs area to welcome you and take you to your hotel.

Today is at leisure in Beijing.

Day 3 | Beijing (B, L)

Tian'anmen Square - Forbidden City - Summer Palace

After a buffet breakfast, you will enjoy a full-day tour of this vibrant city today, starting with Tian'anmen Square. This 100 acre expanse is the largest public square in the world. From here, enter the Forbidden City, the ancient palace at the center of modern Beijing.

Afternoon, continue to tour the Summer Palace and its immense gardens, where the imperial court resided in the summer.

Day 4 | Beijing (B, L)

Great Wall - Imperial Ming Tombs - Olympic Game Park

Great Wall of China. This 6,400 kilometres long wall is a symbol of China's ancient civilization and ranks among the greatest ancient monuments in history. Next, we walk through the Sacred Way to see the Imperial Ming Tombs - the mausoleums of 13 emperors. See the Underground Palace and enjoy the rustic settings  of the tombs. In contrast, the most modern sights are the iconic Olympic Game Park. These include the National Aquatics Centre, better known as the Water Cube, and the National Stadium, better known as the Bird's Nest.

After the whole day tour, treat yourself a great dinner to taste famous Beijing Roasted Duck in Quanjude (optional).

Day 5 | Beijing (B, L)

Temple of Heaven - Huton Tour - Silk Market

In the morning, visit the Temple of Heaven, a masterpiece of Ming architecture and where the emperors performed annual sacrificial rituals for good harvests. Learn Tai Chi Lesson with local people there. After lunch, tour along Huton by trishaw, taste the local people's life. Next, enjoy shopping at Silk Market or at the world-famous shopping street - Wanfujing Shopping street.

Day 6 | Beijing - Xi'an (B, L)

Bullet Train to Xi'an - Shaanxi Museum - Small Wild Goose Pagoda - Muslim Quarter

After breakfast, take the high-speed bullet train to Xi'an in first class (approx. 5 hrs 30 minutes). Xi'an was once the largest city in the world and China's capital for 11 dynasties.

You'll be taken by a local guide to visit Shaanxi Museum which is home to about 400,000 cultural relics and 110,000 old books, including treasures from many periods of China's history.

Next, you will visit Small Wild Goose Pagoda that was made during 707-709 AD. Next, visit the Muslim Quarter to see local life in the community. Explore local life and have dinner at one of the many food stalls.

Day 7 | Xi'an (B, L)

Terracotta Warriors - Xi'an City Wall

After breakfast, we begin with a full day tour to visit Xi'an's main attraction, the Terracotta Warriors. Nothing will prepare you for their sheer scale and number! Later, we visit the ancient City Wall of Xi'an, the complete wall has survived, built during the Tang dynasty. Here you can take a relaxing cycle along the wall (optional).

Day 8 | Xi'an - Shanghai (B)

After breakfast, proceed to the airport for the flight to Shanghai. There, you will be met by our representatives and taken to the hotel by private transfer. Enjoy today exploring Shanghai on your own.

Day 9 | Shanghai (B)

Today you will continue to explore Shanghai at your own pace.

We suggest you visit the Jade Buddha Temple, Shanghai Museum and visit the waterfront of the Bund to admire Shanghai's modern metropolis.

Day 10 | Shanghai (B)

Spend today at leisure in Shanghai.

We suggest to visit Yu Yuan gardens - home to beautiful pavilions, corridors, streams, courtyards and flowers. Later at night, you may wish to take a river cruise or watch the Shanghai Acrobatics Show.

Day 11 | Shanghai (B)

Spend today at leisure in Shanghai. Today you'll be taken by a private transfer from the hotel to the airport for your return flight.
