Day 2 to 4 - Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Meet & greet at the airport and transfer to the EdenStar Hotel Saigon, where you will spend the next three nights with breakfast.

Officially Ho Chi Minh City, but lovingly known by locals as Saigon, is a large and fascinating city. This former capital city blends tradition with modernity - there are French colonial relics like the Notre Dam Cathedral hidden behind modern skyscrapers. The city represents the life and vitality of the Vietnamese people and visitors to this city will be gripped by its energy.

Wander down historic alleyways to incense filled temples before getting lost in one of the modern and sleek designer shopping malls. Head to the 52nd floor of the Saigon Skydeck just before sunrise, for coffee and an unrivalled panoramic view of the Sun setting on this fast moving city. Negotiate a bargain at the Ben Thanh Market where you can find just about anything. Discover the haunting past of this great country by visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels which explains how the Vietnam American War happened, visit the underground tunnels used during the war for a greater appreciation of the resolve of the Vietnamese people.

Day 5 - Siem Reap, Cambodia

After morning breakfast in the EdenStar Saigon Hotel, you will be transferred to the Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City for a flight to Siem Reap. You will stay at the 4* Saem Siem Reap Hotel. Spend the day at your leisure exploring the hotel and city. Siem Reap has been called the number one destination in Asia for 2017: find yourself in a fast growing city full of restaurants and a buzzing nightlife. Head to Pub Street for bars, restaurants and nightlife.

Aside from Angkor Wat, which you will visit on Day 6, there is much to do in Siem Reap. Get a cooking class (there are tons of them) on Pub Street. Head to the Old Market for a wide selection of goods. Visit the gigantic Angkor National Museum which, among other things, houses a gallery in a single room with over 1,000 images of the Buddha. Learn about the history of Cambodia and the great temples which were built here in preparation for the Temples of Angkor Wat Tour.

After breakfast in the Saem Siem Reap Hotel, you will be transferred to the great Temples of Angkor Wat. Spend time learning about these grand structures and of their importance to the Ancient Khmer Empire.

These are the largest religious monuments in the world, surrounded by beautiful lakes which reflect the images of the temples. After a breathtaking experience, you will return to your hotel for an afternoon of leisure.

The city is over 1,000 years old - the wide range of history on show here is mind boggling. There are temples, ancient fortresses, theatres, lakes and a whole host of UNESCO World Heritage Sites to visit. Everywhere you look, you will see the influence the city had under Chinese and French occupation. Part of Hanoi's allure is in its vibrant and pulsating street life, where all aspects of life are played out on the street.

The city is home to some of the finest Vietnamese coffee and street food. There is plenty for travellers to do - visit the historical mausoleum of Vietnam's founding father Ho Chi Minh, see the cities focal point the Hoan Kiem Lake, and be sure to visit the Hanoi Old Quarter on foot; where travellers can see colonial architecture along narrow streets with buddhist temples and markets with street vendors selling delicious food and souvenirs for as little as $1.

You will visit Thien Cung, the 'Heavenly Palace', the most stunning cave in Halong Bay. Arrive back at Hanoi in the late evening.
